Conductor with BCS All-County student musicians on stage

Two musical supergroups assembled on stage at North Buncombe High School Thursday night, for the 2024-2025 Buncombe County Schools All-County Band performances.

The evening included two concerts, with one band composed of high school freshmen and sophomores and the other of juniors and seniors, from schools throughout the BCS system.

Students auditioned last week at Enka High School to earn their spot on the stage. The bands are made of performers from North Buncombe, Owen, Reynolds, Roberson, Enka, Erwin, and Nesbitt Discovery Academy. They came together for one-and-a-half days of rehearsals, with the experience culminating in an evening of musical mastery.
