Online Training for Buncombe County Public School Employees

Buncombe County Public Schools requires at-risk employees (Custodians, Plumbers, Transportation Safety Assistants, Intensive Intervention Teachers, and Intensive Intervention Assistants) to receive annual Bloodborne Pathogen Training.  Please follow the three steps below to complete this requirement:

Complete the online Bloodborne Pathogens Quiz.

Complete the online Hepatitis B Vaccination Form.

NOTE: Print this only if you elect to receive the Hep B Vaccination series.

If you elected to receive the Hepatitis B Vaccination series, after completing and submitting the form in step #3 above, you must print a copy and bring it to the Buncombe County Department of Health and Human Services (BCDHHS) located at 40 Cox Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801 - phone number (828) 250-5096.  At the sign-in kiosk, select "NO APPOINTMENT/ IMMUNIZATIONS" then take a number.

The BCDHHS is open from 8AM – 5PM Monday through Friday.  No appointment is necessary.  Be prepared to show your Buncombe County Schools Picture ID and health insurance card (if applicable).
