Two-Hour Delay Schedule
Block 1 - 10:30 - 11:15
Students report to 2nd Block, then
Lunch - 11:20 - 11:50 (All Year Ones and Twos to cafe with 2nd block teacher)
Block 2 - 12:00-12:55
Block 4 - 1:00 - 2:05
Block 5- 2:10 - 3:45
After-School: 2:10 pm - 3:45 pm -- Daily, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday
* 5th Block does not meet on Tuesdays
Three-Hour Delay Schedule
Report to CORE or Advisory at arrival
Lunch - 11:15-11:45 am
Block 1 - 11:50-12:30
Block 2 - 12:35-1:15
Block 4 - 1:20-2:05
Block 5 - 2:10-3:45
* 5th Block does not meet on Tuesdays
Year 3-5 students will need to check A-B Tech's schedule for any weather-related delays. As always, let your high school teacher know if you will be missing a class due to attendance in a college course. If you have to miss your high school block due to a college course but can attend the high school class at a different block, you are expected to do so.
Early Dismissal Schedule
Currently, Buncombe County Schools has identified four Early Dismissal days in the school year. High school classes only will follow the schedule below on these days:
Oct. 31
Feb. 15
April 23
May 15
1st block: 8:30-9:15
2nd block: 9:20-10:05
4th block: 10:10-10:55
Lunch/CORE:
Ist Lunch 10:55-11:25
2nd CORE 11:35-11:55
or
Ist CORE 11:00-11:20
2nd Lunch 11:20-11:50 -- Return directly to buses
Dismiss for Buses at 11:55 (Buses leave at 12:00)
