Hola Carolina: Volunteerism at Fiesta Hendersonville
On September 24th, Fisayo Bashorun, Jay Bronstein-BaldwinGrace Carter, Kayla Dutcher, Alex Galvan, Andriana Korolchuk, Melanie Korolchuk, and Laura Zuniga volunteered at Fiesta Hendersonville.

Fiesta Hendersonville is a free community festival by Hola Carolina, a Spanish-language magazine that promotes events for the Hispanic community of WNC. There was dancing, food, and music.

Our students had a unique opportunity to create and distribute a survey for Hola Carolina to festival goers. Mrs. Rodriguez's Spanish 3 class created the survey and the volunteers used Spanish and English to communicate with festival participants and conduct the survey, and the Spanish 3 class is currently writing a report in Spanish on their analysis of survey data to give to Hola Carolina.
