Our Home/School Approach to Student Success

How you can help:

Keep your contact information up-to-date.

  • We will contact you by e-mail or phone for personal matters.
  • When we send out an all-school message, we will e-mail you when possible to minimize interruptions to your family time.
  • All-call important messages and emergencies will be sent out through all means possible.

Be a part of your son's/daughter's team.

  • You are expected to attend orientations, back-to-school meetings, and parent conferences. These meetings have can’t-miss information that will help you support your son/daughter.

Check grades weekly online.

  • You can support your child academically by creating an online account through the Home Base Parent Portal. This allows you and your son/daughter to access grades and attendance 24/7. Come by our main office at 232-4123 to pick up information on how to set up your private account.

Join our parent organization.

  • You are encouraged to attend meetings of our parent organization, Eagles' Wings. This parent organization focuses on student support at Early College and seeks parent input in meeting topics that will help families advocate for their children here at BCEC.

Parents are always welcome around BCEC, if you are interested in volunteering but you are not sure how, login to our Volunteer Tracker App. Parent proctors are always needed at the end of each semester for state testing. Please call the front office at 232-4123 if you are willing to volunteer.

  • You are welcome to visit our school at any time. Please come by the main office to sign in and to inform school staff of your visit.
